Zimmer Communications has also been nominated for 5 Marconi awards by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), with winners being announced at their annual convention October 9-13, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marconi awards are given for broadcast excellence and are the highest level of honor in broadcasting, named after Guglielmo Marconi, an inventor known as the father of radio.
Additionally, Zimmer Communications was awarded The Service To Community Award for Radio in the ownership group category during the Celebration of Service to America Awards program in July, 2021, presented by the NAB Leadership Foundation. This recognized Zimmer’s “Miracles for Kids” radiothon as outstanding community service by local broadcasters.
As we reflect in the past year, and in moving forward, we are humbled to have the opportunity to be a part of this industry, and to be given the opportunity to make a difference in the communities we serve. We do not take these recognitions lightly and are honored to have been awarded in such high regard in the last year. From each of us here at Zimmer Communications, we'd like to thank you.
