Every year, the National Association of Broadcasters holds the prestigious Marconi Awards in New York, marking radio's pinnacle event. These awards symbolize radio's most esteemed recognitions, and Zimmer Communications made a notable presence among the honored recipients.
98.7 The Dove morning show hosts, Kevin & Chris, hosted a nearly sold-out “Pretty In Pink” movie party at Alamo Draft House to benefit The Breast Cancer Foundation of The Ozarks!
MC'd by KCMQ, the 17th annual Rootin' Tootin' Chili Cookoff raises money for Columbia's Boys and Girls Club of Columbia. This event raised over $80,000! We also took home the gold for Best Costumes, a reminder that we are a team of many talents!
The Como Man Show was also our most successful yet. With over 80 business booths and 1,500 people in attendance, this was a record-setting event for the year!
KWTO held the first Town Hall live broadcast on Wednesday, July 26th. “The Vicious Cycle of Homelessness in Springfield and Greene County” featured experts who assist or interact with the homeless in our community.
Jonathan Durbin, Zimmer Recruitment Director and now a certified True Colors instructor, presented True Colors training to everyone in the company. One consistency between all sessions was how invested everyone was in uplifting and bettering our teamwork and communication. As we continue to grow departments in every market, we must maintain integrity and passion by ensuring every new team member is the right culture fit!
