Cosmo is a native Missourian, being born and raised in St. Louis. He has been on the on-air for almost 29 years, landing his first job when he was just 20 years old in the mountains of Colorado. He also has spent some time on-air in Sedalia, as well as in Rockford, IL, before finding his way back to mid-Missouri in 2000. A long-standing voice and personality in the Zimmer family, Cosmo is nearing 20 years with Y107 & Zimmer, and we are happy to keep him for as long as possible! He is a four-time Marconi Award nominee for On-Air Morning Show Talent and a two-time winner of the Missouri Broadcaster Award for Top Morning Show.
Being actively involved in the mid-Missouri community, Cosmo has served as the play-by-play sports announcer for Columbia College Soccer, Baseball & Softball for the last 19 years. When he's not in the Y studio, he DJs weddings, and dances, and emcees various local charitable events every year. He is also involved with Special Olympics, Armani’s Angels, and March of Dimes, just to name a few.

KAT

Kat brings a positive and energetic vibe to the Y107 Morning Show. Married to Cosmo, she caught the radio bug from years of being a guest host on the show with him, and now the Zimmer family is her family too. Originally from Florida, she’s lived as far away as Saudi Arabia and as close as St. Louis. She loves radio because it gives her an incredible platform to bring positivity, hope, and laughs to the listeners and community. A natural extrovert, Kat can connect with anyone in less than 30 seconds and enjoys building relationships everywhere.
She is an entrepreneur, a mom, a singer, a photographer, a speaker, a writer, a podcaster, and an athlete. As a mom to a son with autism, Kat is a passionate advocate for numerous charities and associations, but especially enjoys working on behalf of kids. She has traveled multiple times to Haiti working with the Global Orphan Project. Kat understands people's vision for their businesses and loves helping them bring that vision come to life. She has always been a trusted voice among her peers and community friends…and now she is to the listeners of Y107 as well.

Carson
Middays: Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Saturday: 11:00am - 3:00pm
Collecting a wide range of experience on his journey to the Y107 team, Carson brings a diverse and impressive range of talent and skill with him to the studio. Carson grew up in the West Suburbs of Chicago, and his radio journey all started his freshman year of college when his friend asked him to join him one weekend at the campus radio station, to help him “run CDs”. From that moment on, he was hooked! And after more than 19 total years in the radio industry, he isn't planning on going anywhere. Carson has been with Zimmer for over 5 years, and in that time has been awarded Air Talent of the Year by the Missouri Broadcasters Association in 2020.
If he's not hosting Middays on Y107, he's probably hanging out with his kids and/or his dog Toby, or binge-watching a new show with his wife, while trying out a new whiskey or microbrew. Carson is also an avid music fan and listens to a wide range of artists, including Muse, Ed Sheeran, Dierks Bentley, Cake, and Ray Lamontagne. Although his all-time favorite concert, and a personal favorite of his daughter as well, would have to be Taylor Swift. Some more of his favorite things include video games with his son, traveling, biking, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Kristin
Afternoons: Monday – Friday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm,
Saturday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Kristin moved all over growing up and calls Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, her hometown. She moved to Columbia in January 2021! Her radio career has been somewhat accidental. It wasn't until she happened to be interviewed on her favorite radio station that she accidentally ended up with a part-time job in 2013. After that, she was in love! Kristin hosts during the afternoon, bringing with her a world of experience and recognition, all while displaying her unique and dynamic personality. She was recognized as The Rusty Walker Scholar (for up-and-coming personalities) by Country Radio Seminar, won a Marconi Award for Best Small Market Personality in 2022, and most recently won a Missouri Broadcasters Association Award for Air Talent in 2023.
When she's not on the air, she loves spending time with her husky mix, Tiani, one of the lights of her life! The other is her husband, Tim. She loves crafting and owns two Cricut machines. She also is into fitness and enjoys a good workout and being active! Kristin is a big fan of powerhouse vocalists the likes of Demi Lovato, Halsey, and Ariana Grande.
